ABOUT

Marc is a business leader and entrepreneur with 20 years of operations, technology, finance, and executive experience, he is passionate about building innovative and profitable businesses that fulfill vital customer needs.

As an equity investor, he has managed or acquired more than $5Bn in assets for global firms such as The Carlyle Group, Mubadala and MacFarlane Partners.  As a consumer debt lender, he has deployed more than $200M of exposure to New-to-Credit borrowers for Capital One, and developed a path to $5B of business opportunity through commercialization. As an entrepreneur he co-founded ChefXchange, an award-winning international food/tech online marketplace and platform, that connected chefs to foodies looking for exclusive culinary experiences in 20 countries throughout the Middle East, Europe, and North America. 

Marc’s work has always entailed a double bottom-line approach of profitability for the company and positivity for the communities that he interacts with.  Whether funding community development or helping displaced refugees earn additional money, he works with purpose for the community and the environment.  He currently serves as an adviser to Shared Harvest Fund which helps young professionals repay student loans through volunteering.  He also has served as the finance chair and treasurer of the Harbor School.

A native of Seattle, Marc holds a BS in Civil Engineering from M.I.T. and an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford.  He holds an MBA from London Business School where he was a member of the finance club and chair of the Real Estate club.  He is a husband and a father of three children, who loves the outdoors.  He enjoys upland bird hunting, deep sea and fly fishing, skiing and rooting for the Seattle Seahawks with his family.
